Our Summer Plan

Summer Time is fast approaching! It is actually here! Most of our campuses are on summer break now and our heart as a team is to prepare them for the next school year.

While praying and asking God’s heart for this school year, God has been taking me back to the Book of Acts and birthing the desire to see the same culture of prayer and revival happen in our students and in our Campus Ministry here in Alabang!

Imagine Pentecost, when Jesus commanded His disciples to wait for the power of God before going out and testifying about Him (Acts 1:4-8). It was in their time of praying together as ONE that God poured out His Spirit and empowered them to witness (Acts 2:1-4). After this momentous event, what we saw was a great change. From cowards to disciples who boldly and powerfully testified about Christ (Acts 2:14 compared to Luke 22:54-62), disciples who saw the revival of God and how Jesus multiplied His Church and made it a spiritual family (Acts 2:42-47), disciples who witnessed to the healing power of God (Acts 3:6-10), and disciples who were ready to lay down their lives for the sake of the Gospel (7:54-60).

All these were attributed to one momentous event–the coming of the promise of God, His very Presence–the Holy Spirit! And I believe God’s direction for us this coming school year is the same! He will pour out His Spirit tremendously and will bring forth a revival amongst the next generation here in Alabang.

Together, let’s believe and claim the following for our Campus Ministry! 🙏🏻

  • Revival to be in the hearts of all our Student Leaders–that they all would catch God’s heart for the lost and align to His Redemptive purposes for them, their classmates, and their campus! (Ezekiel 37:1-14)
  • Power as we will be having a month-long evangelism campaign this coming school year. (Acts 1:8)
  • God’s Kingdom to tremendously advance in all sectors of the campuses we are reaching out to. (Matthew 6:10)

Exciting things are up ahead, ministry partners! Together, let’s be expectant to witness God’s hand as He continues to change the lives of these world changers! 🌍🌎🌏

Alabang Student Center Music Team

Today, we had the privilege of ministering to our Music Team Volunteers in the Student Center. It’s so encouraging to see the next generation worship God with all their hearts, minds, souls and strength! Truly, God is raising a generation who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.

God reminded us earlier that worship is about knowing Him intimately. He is a God so holy and powerful yet a God so intimate, personal, near and knowable. A God who reveals Himself to those who seek Him with all their hearts. A God so majestic and great, seated in His heavenly throne, yet a God so involved in all our lives. There’s only one way to respond to this beautiful and glorious God–WORSHIP.

And that’s what we did earlier, we just worshipped Him like never before! We got reminded of how deserving He is of all worship, honor, glory, and praise! Indeed He has the most beautiful, wonderful, and powerful name. He has the Name above all names! And this is the only name we adore–JESUS!

God also gave a promise earlier that as we worship and pray, He will break chains and open closed doors!

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened. [Acts 16:25-26]

We are excited to see this happen! Thank you for discipling a generation who worships God! Together, let’s change the campus and change the world! 🌍
